Noorani Makatib Mobile Van for Gusal and Kafan

Noorani Makatib, under the umbrella of Gulshan-e-Ahmed Trust, has developed an extraordinary Mobile Van dedicated to the essential services of Gusal and Kafan for deceased bodies. This initiative is particularly valuable for slum areas and small residential societies in Surat city.

The Mobile Van is staffed by two to three Aalim couples who provide Gusal-Kafan services, ensuring adherence to Sunnat and avoiding any Bidaat practices.

Initiative Details:

• Mobile Van development cost – Rs. 17,50,000/-
• Cost per Dead Body Gusal-Kafan – Rs. 1500/- (includes maintenance)
• Charges – Not applicable for poor families; funds managed from Lillah amount
